Barbie: The Princess and the Popstar is a 2012 American musical fantasy animated film produced by Rainmaker Animation and Universal Studios Home Entertainment. It is the twenty-third in the Barbie film series and the second Barbie film to be based on The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain (the first was Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper) in celebration of Universal's centennial anniversary.The film features the voices of Kelly Sheridan, Jennifer Waris, Ashleigh Ball, Tiffany Giardina, Ellie King, and Peter Kelamis.
